DeborahSuzanne Lander is an awarding winning multidisciplinary & transdisciplinary artist, curator & teacher.

She describes as a scavenger and storyteller. She graduated in 2019 with a BA (HONS) in Fine Art at University Centre Colchester and went on to gain her Master of Fine Art at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge with distinction in 2021.

Deborah worked as a fetish and lifestyle photographer working for The London Alternative Market and Bizarre Magazine as well as working on the red carpet and capturing bands at gigs and signings. Initially, painting was a therapeutic tool, but in 2016 she decided to focus on her fine art projects. Primarily a water colour artist specialising in Chinese and Indian inks, she also works with sculpture, film and photography in a fine art context. Her research is focused on practice-based methodologies. She lives in a rural village in East Anglia and is a curatorial member of the British Art Network.

 

Completing research in Project Management, Fundraising and Curating which was supported by Arts Council England & The Minories in Colchester in 2021, she went on to teach Contemporary Fine Art at University Centre Colchester.
